Prep for my arrival

To get your space ready for my arrival, I have a list of items I'd like you to complete.  This will allow me to get started as soon as I arrive to maximize my work time in your home.

Please complete all tasks prior to my arrival:

• Purchase paint. Refer to your contract to see exactly what kind of paint I asked you to purchase at Home Depot for your specific project. I am now able to offer a 20% discount on all paint purchases at Home Depot (1 gallon size and larger)!! Click here to learn more about this!
• Purchase hooks if you need them for your project. Please refer to this section of my website to ensure you purchase hooks that will work with the style accent wall you're having installed.
• Pull furniture away from walls, leaving as much space for me as possible to work. Ideally 4 feet.
•  I will fill/patch all nail holes and wall blemishes. If there is something extreme (large damage) please let me know ASAP. I will fill every nail hole I see. If you want to KEEP some nail holes (to put wall art back up), please LEAVE THE NAIL in the wall and I will not fill those. 
• Remove all outlet, light switch, and vent covers if I am doing interior wall painting.
• If I'm doing a wooden accent wall install, please do not remove outlet, vent covers. I will, when needed.
• Take down curtains that may be in the way. It's okay to keep the hardware up that's screwed into the wall, if you want.
• Remove wooden handrail/railings. it's okay to keep the hardware up that's screwed into the wall... I can work around that.
• Dust/remove spider webs around windows, walls, and baseboards, etc. If this isn't done, dust, hair etc. can get in the paint and then get on your newly painted walls.  
• Please note: I use your existing wall as the backer board to the project so the walls need to be in good condition. In the photos shown on my website and social media pages, the background of the accent walls is actually the existing wall.
•  Please look at your trim, baseboards, etc. and see if there is any paint on it from a previous paint job. Especially if it’s a similar color to what I’ll be painting. I take pride in my work and don’t want to be confused with a previous person’s paint job. 
• If you have space in your garage for me to work, I absolutely appreciate that if it is raining or in the winter months!
• Please let me know where I can park in the driveway. Left side, right side... etc.  
• Unless you tell me otherwise, I will assume you’re okay with me taking photos of your      room/rooms I am painting. I am always careful not to get personal photos in view. If you’d prefer I don’t take photos or videos, please let me know ASAP.
• Payment info: Please pay for the job once it's complete with cash, check, or via Venmo. If payment is sent via Venmo, be sure to send via "Friends and Family" versus "Goods and Services" so I don't get a transaction fee. Thank you!

What you need to supply:

Just the paint! I will supply everything else. I will give my best educated guess as to how much paint you'll need for the project ahead of time. Please be aware that if more paint is needed, I will let you know as soon as possible!

I base my quotes on me using Behr Marquee (for interior wall painting) and Behr Ultra Paint (for wooden accent walls). I exclusively paint with this brand because I feel it gets the best coverage possible.

**Please make sure you received the discount PRIOR to payment. There have been a couple of times where it wasn't given (glitch in their system) and I want to make sure you receive it! 

Need some ideas for hooks in your mudroom or bathroom? There are so many great hooks available on Amazon. I have put together a list of some of my favorite. 

Please look at photos of projects I've done and message me once you decide on what you're thinking of going with. I will be able to verify it is something that will work with your accent wall design. (Some are too tall to fit under shelves/overhangs, and will NOT work.)

I ask for a $100 deposit when scheduling your job. This payment reserves your spot on my calendar. This amount will go towards the rest of your payment which will be due once your project is complete. After the contract is agreed upon, if you decide to cancel or reschedule, this payment will not be refunded.

For final payment after the job is complete, I ask that you pay within 24 hours.

I accept cash, check, and Venmo payments. If payment is sent via Venmo, be sure to send via "Friends and Family" versus "Goods and Services" so I don't get a transaction fee. Thank you!
